Production of electricity
It is an investment management company active in the production and distribution of electrical energy, gas, steam and hot water. The company was incorporated in March 1997. It has its head office mainly located in Lugo, a city in northwestern Spain. The company owns and manages assets of the Alabe Group, a society of power services of Acciona which use financing for third parties in co-generation and renewable energies - especially Aeolian, biomass, electricity and heat. Alabe impels saving energy for positive impact of environment. It is one of the principal players in the development, construction, operation and maintenance of renewable energy facilities, focused primarily on wind power, in which it ranks third in the world in terms of installed capacity, and it also develops projects and engages in considerable research in other areas such as biodiesel, solar, biomass and small hydroelectric.
